I recently stumbled upon a way to download torrents without using my own internet connection, while also being able to stream the torrented item. I'd like to introduce Seedr (https://www.seedr.cc/).
This is my first experience with anything like this. I was pleasantly surprised by how it was easy it was to setup an account and start downloading. It took me all of two minutes. It's normally quite tedious to sign up for things these days, but it was quick an painless here.
You start with 2GB of free storage right off the bat. This allows you to upload and download up to 2GB of data without any cost. This is a great addition to get you started, while also doubling up as a trial run. If you need more storage, there are a few ways to increase it for free: Posting on Twitter, Positing on Pinterest, etc.
Based on what I've seen so far here are my initial pros and cons (we all love lists, right?).
PROS:
Free
Easy sign-up process
Additional storage can be added for free
Stream capabilities
Direct download
If someone on Seedr already downloaded the torrent you want, it completes instantly
Referral program
CONS:
Conversion process of videos does take some time
Overall, a wonderful experience thus far. I recommend trying it out and giving it a shot. What do you have to lose?
